2000 mercedes 230 kompressor12/31/2023 Just make sure everything is maintained and that's the best thing. However, that's more trouble than it's worth and not so good for the resale. Hell, with the prices of things and replacement superchargers, if my s/c ever went out, I'd just go the route of turbocharging it, with only a mild increase in power, to the mid 200's, and reprogram the ecu, or work a controller. They can make some extra power, but you're going to be spending a lot of money for small gains. People say exhausts, some for other cars have those supposed cold air intakes which draw in hot underhood air. While one can overspin the s/c, you have to wonder if the overspin to get some more kick is better than having top end because of how inefficient they become when overspun. You'll see lots of threads where people talk about this and that, and they might yield some incremental results, but the real proof is a before and after dyno. One problem is the supercharger and its inherent ineffeciency. 2000 mercedes-benz c-class - winter park, flkinda auto sales incwinter park, fl 32792ph: 4072125946web: Comoptions:description:2000 mercedes c230 kompressor for sale luxury car 96k miles power everything drives like new 3200 cash firm by appointment only text only 4072125947. It looks like 8 quarts are too much if not draining the TC.One thing to remember on these engines is that unless you do a real big mechanical overhaul, you're not going to get huge gains. Updated 10/06/09: I found another discussion about transmission fluid changed below. Anyone else DIY on this? How much transmission fluid have you put in without draining from TC? Thanks. I put total about 5.5 quarts of transmission oil in my car after I drove it to reach the operating temperature and measured by a dip stick (I bought it on line as there was no transmission dip stick in my MB). I drained my car's transmission fluid from the pan (drain from plug 1st and then removed pan). I just want to make sure the information will be as accurate as possible. I am kind of surprise that TC (torque converter) only holds 1/2 quart of transmission oil if I do the math by taking 8.5 minus 8 quarts you put in your tranny. My 1999 C230 Kompressor transmission capacity is 8.5 quarts (8 liters). It really helps for me to service my car's transmission fluid for 1st time with close to 150K miles.
