To start, you’ll need the iOS 17 developer beta on your iPhone ( full guide here).Remember the major new feature in this beta, Adaptive Audio, is only available with AirPods Pro 2 and with this being a developer beta, install it at your own risk. And it’s not available at all with the iOS 17 public beta.īut fortunately, Apple has made all the tools available to anyone with an Apple ID to try the AirPods Pro 2 beta with free Apple Developer account access. Adaptive Audio offers a super smooth automatic transition between noise cancellation, transparency, and lowering/raising volume that feels magical.īut as it happens, you don’t automatically get the AirPods Pro beta when you install the iOS 17 developer beta on your iPhone (there are a few more steps to the process). My 9to5Mac teammates and I have been testing out the feature and we’ve all been really impressed. Here’s how to install the AirPods beta to try out the great new capabilities.Īs a refresher, here’s how Apple describes the new feature for AirPods Pro 2 (all other AirPods are not getting this feature, not even AirPods Max):Īdaptive Audio dynamically blends Transparency and Active Noise Cancellation to tailor the noise control experience as you move between changing environments and interactions throughout the day.Īlso included with the new feature are two more capabilities called Conversation Awareness and Personalized Volume. However, testing out the feature is a bit trickier than just installing the iOS 17 beta. To date, the only games they have internally developed were Starbound and Wargroove: Starbound is their best-known game, is a buggy mess that had most of its content stripped pre-launch and is only worth it with enough mods to make it a different game.Įric Barone is working on a new game: Haunted Chocolatier [He is once again developing the game solo, it will be single-player only, and there is no news on whether or not Chucklefish will be publisher (though after some of the issues he had with them with Stardew,I personally find it unlikely that he will ever work with them again.Apple unveiled its exciting new Adaptive Audio feature for AirPods Pro 2 in June that blends its Adaptive Transparency with Active Noise Cancellation and more. Aside from those specific contributions, ConcernedApe made Stardew on his own.Ĭhucklefish is predominantly a publisher, not a developer. The only things Chucklefish directly contributed to Stardew were some non-English localization, some of the non-PC porting, and the unstable co-op component. Witchbrook is developed and published by Chucklefish. Stardew was developed by Eric Barone AKA ConcernedApe and published by Chucklefish. Just wanted to clarify: Witchbrook is NOT from the same developer as Stardew Valley. Little Witch in the Woods could have benefited from such as well, even if it was a minor side character or something like an assistant or whathaveyou. That's four or five games in the same style with multiplayer. And, of course there's Roots of Pacha, which looks stellar, and is also going to have multiplayer. It too will likely feature multiplayer like its predecessor. Both Potion Party and Brookhaven have multiplayer - two games similar to "Little Witch." Witchbrook is also on the way, from the same developers as Stardew Valley. Originally posted by HustleGames:Multiplayer would be nice.
